Traveling restriction on uk spouse visa

Post by Ufazwil » Sat Sep 12, 2015 3:34 pm

Hi
Im not sure if this is the right place but i really need some good advice.. im living in the uk on spouse visa with my wife who is a british citizen. My first visa was for 33 months as i applied from outside the uk and i arrived 2 months and 9 days late from pakistan. My visa will expire in nov this year all i want to know with reference to the info above that can i travel to pakistan after my visa extention next year. For not more than 3 weeks. Wil it effect the 60 months (5year) rule of staying with my spouse before i apply for naturalisation?? Im all ears for any suggestions. Thanku

Absences are allowed for holidays, family visits, etc. HO does not expect the spouse to not leave the country for 60 months.

Your absences should be limited and for good reason though, ie not living in your home country and only coming to UK for 1 month a year as an example.
