Ireland Working Holiday Authorization & FLR(M)

Hello,

I am getting married in NZ on 23rd December to a NZ citizen. I am a UK citizen we fly to NZ on 3rd December.

We were going to apply for a FLR(M) visa but are struggling to prove the minimum income requirement £18600 as some of my income is cash and doesn't go into my bank account.

His current youth mobility (tier 5) visa expires 25th February 2016. We are looking into a WHA so he can come back for another year, do some work in Ireland and then come back to the UK with me. This will give us time to sort our income out.

Can he apply for a WHA for Ireland from within NZ before his other visa expires?
Can we apply for a FLR(M) visa whilst he has a WHA?
Is the minimum income threshold going to increase in April 2016?
How many months bank statements are required for the FLR()M visa application?

If anyone has any advice we would really appreciate it.

If he qualifies I suppose he can yes. Is this for Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland under the UK rules?

This depends on your answer to question above and which Ireland you refer to.

Is the minimum income threshold going to increase in April 2016?

Nothing has been said and we can't guess what HO will do. It is unlikely though but best to keep an eye on HO updates.

How many months bank statements are required for the FLR()M visa application?

6 months payslips and 6 months bank statements.

I am curious that you mention Ireland. Please clarify which Ireland you are referring to as there are other, cheaper, easier routes available if you mean southern Ireland.
