T2 ICT Long Term - same sponsor to change T2 General

Hi,

Im currently with T2 ICT Long term visa. And my current employer is willing to provide me T2 General Visa.

My questions are:
1. Is it required for me to serve the cooling off period?
2. Is it required for me to go back to home country and reply for T2 General?
3. If I apply for my T2 G before expiry of current visa - Will current visa invalidated?

2. Yes
3. Yes, if you are granted a Tier 2 General visa your Tier 2 ICT will be cancelled.
