Hm office have lost residency permit card

Hi guys,
Basicaly we applied for our sons first passport. the passport arrived followed by the supporting documents except 1 significant item was missing,my husbands residency card.
We are wanting to go pakistan next month.
i have contacted them and managed to get through to the person who approved the passport and said she remembered putting the card in but that they wil do an office check and keep me updated.

What should i do? wait? Inform ukba and police or wait?
Will we be compensated? A replacement card can take upto 3 months.we are going abroad next month. Premium service is 400 we cant afford that and its not our fault.

No. At the most, you might get HMPO to pay the replacement fee for the BRP. You need to get things in writing. Suggest you email and phone then daily.

HMPO lost my foreign passport and naturalisation certificate. Eventually they found it in the special delivery envelope that never got sent out. I received my documents back 6 weeks after I received my British Passport.

Whitehall 1212 is Scotland Yard. Maybe try Whitehall 1213.

How did you get the compansation for a premium service? I assume it is the premium service for replacing the BRP.

I have the same situation here. I applied for my son's first passport couple of weeks ago. When the supporting documents returned, my ILR Biometric card was missing. I contact HMPO immedeiately, today they told me they cannot find my ILR Biometric card and suggest me write an letter to the HMPO customer serivce in SOUTHPORT PR8 9PW.
