Doubts regarding new interim shortage occupation for nurses

Post by westwest » Tue Jan 12, 2016 12:29 pm

Hi all,

I am a nursing profession completed my ONP and waiting for my pin from NMC,
I am looking for a job change with a new COS from a new employer under Tier 2 General.

My questions,
1) Since the nurses are included in shortage occupation as of now till Feb, will my visa be considered as shortage occupation when i apply for ILR after 3 years? does the 35k rule will be waived off at that time ?

2) If i switch the visa in between will my NHS sur charges be repaid ?

3) Heard earlier about the spouse working restriction on tier 2.. Is there any news about that ?

Request your valuable information.

Thanks & Regards
Aswathi

1. No one on the forum can guess what the future holds in terms of your questions.

2. Probably not, health surcharge has to be paid with each application submitted.

3. Not as yet as far as I am aware.
