Companies offering sponsorship to Canadian/AMerican workers

I'm a Canadian/American Dual citizen. I want to move the UK for about a year to work and travel. However, I'm 34 years old meaning I can't apply for the Youth work travel visa.

Does anyone have any advice on how to find companies that would be willing to sponsor me for a Tier 2 general visa even on a temporary basis to work in London specifically. I am in I.T. working as a Software Tester (QA).

At this point it doesn't even matter what type of job it is...Note: My highest level of education is a Bachelors degree.

Any advice would be appreciated :)
