Landline numbers for calling Home Office.

Post by lguimaraes » Fri Mar 04, 2016 12:10 pm

Hi I have an application running for over 6 months!

The HO did not make any contact regarding to my visa or requesting any further doc. I called them asking for an update and they told me to wait for a reply within 3 days, nobody contacted me. I called today again and they asked another 5 days that someone would contact me.

Does anybody know if I can ask for an update via mail?

thanks

What is your full immigration history?

Are you in the UK or one of the EU countries or somewhere else?

Where is your EEA family?

What is your relationship to your EEA sponsor?

You need to provide more detail if you expect anyone to help you. We cannot guess your circumstances.

Hi thanks!!

I got in 2013 a residence card in Ireland with full right to work based in my relationship with my partner german national. We are together for over 5 years but we are unmarried partners.

Last year my partner was transferred to work in London, I came together and in August we applied as an extended family member using the form EEA-EFM. We provided a pile of docs, I sent my biometrics info and the HO didn't ask for any other doc, also they didn't make any contact since August regards to my case.

Plus I didn't receive a COA with right to work for our condition of 'unmarried partner'. Well 6 months later I found out that I would have the right to COA, because I have a previous residence card from another EEA country. I've made the request this week for my COA.

Last monday, 1st of March... I called the HO and asked for an update of my case, they asked me 3 days for a reply by phone but no one contacted me. I called again yesterday (4th march) explained everything again and was asked another 5 days for a reply.

Well I would like to know if it is possible to make this request by mail, just to have a prove!
We were informed that it would be decided within 6 months, all this waiting time is letting me crazy!

thanks
