Advice Needed

Apologies in advance if this has been answered somewhere already but i have searched and searched again and cannot seem to find any information relating to my situation that might help.


Recently i was Naturalised as a British Citizen ( Passport obtained now etc... )

My parents ( 63 & 64 Years old ) both live in Greece at the moment on a Residence Permit ( Albanian Nationals ) which is due to run out within the next couple of years.

As most people may know, Greece has suffered the most through the Recession, especially the migrants trying to make a living there.

They both have UK Visit Visas that expire within the next 12 Months etc..

I would really like them to join me in the UK now, since i have a Permanent Job ( around £20k a Year ).

I rent my own place but soon will be buying my own own place which will be slightly bigger.

I don't want to go down the Surinder Singh Route since my work won't allow me that.

Both are healthy, so no Medical Conditions that i could use as a reason.

Realistically speaking, what options do i have left and above all what's my chances.

Surinder Singh would be your ONLY option.

Adult dependent relative visa under the UK immigration rules is almost impossible to get and is very expensive and if you apply and they are refused, the door for visitor visas will also be closed to them.

As CR001 has advised route to settlement for adult dependent relatives has been virtually closed. The fact that they are in good health actually works against them. In order to succeed it would have to be proved that:
They both need 24 hour help with washing, dressing, and basic daily tasks.
and
That care is either not available or affordable in their country of residence.
