Documents for Same Day Application

I am going to Apply Same Day Extension

Already on tier 2 and it is change of Employer

Doing same day first time and have done post in the past.

Documents needed are passport, BRP and photograph.

I haven't submitted application yet as waiting fr COS Number but can some one tell me what do we do with application ? Do we print it and take with us on the day or do we not need to take it? Is there a separate application form for Same Day Service?

I guess my previous company legal adviser is confused.

He says to cancel COS he also needs to provide physical address of my new employer.

I doubt it is mandatory fields otherwise what those people do who do not have immediate new employer.

I have someone who has requested a COS for me but it is under home office review and request is currently pending so they are not officially my new employer yet.

Can i safely state to my current employer to leave this field blank?

Also can someone one tel me why do home office ask this information from existing employer?

You print the form and take it with you. Don't forget to pay the immigration health surcharge.
