Self Tier 2 ICT and Wife on Dependant

Post by rishimehrotra » Mon Apr 04, 2016 8:04 pm

Hello everyone,

I have a situation to discuss and get some thoughts around, I have a Tier 2 ICT and have been living in UK since last 11 months. My company based in India is asking me to come back but in between my wife who joined me 6 months back has got a very decent job with a bank in Manchester. Before leaving in a months time I needed to verify do I have any options at all to stay back here? is there slightest of possibility where My wife could get her visa changed and even I go back to India can apply for a dependent visa and once in here apply for job in UK it self.

Just to try my luck I gave a few job interviews and even got selected but due to my current visa situation I couldn't join in.

Any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated

You cannot switch to another Tier 2 General visa within the UK and without serving a cooling off period of 12 months.

If your wife can get sponsorship for a Tier 2 General, she can return to home country and apply for the visa and you can apply as her dependent and return to the UK with her.
