FLR(M) EARNING REQUIREMENTS

Hi there

my wife is on flr (m) who has extension due next year in july 2017, we have 3 kids all born in uk and i am on ilr and self employed and got ilr through tier 1 gen.
my confusion is on the minimum earning requirement that is 18600£ but i am confused do i need to show this £18600 earning of last one year or last 2 years?? which is known as average earning of 2 years.

if i get the earning of 18600£ in year 2015/16 is it ok??
