Find out visa status

Decision on my visa application was made more than a week ago, but because of long public holidays in my country the passport delivery is delayed. Is there any way to find out the decision before I receive my passport back? Can my sponsor see it in his sponsor profile? For example, if certificate status is "USED" - does this mean the visa was granted? Or will it be "USED" in case of rejection as well? Can he call UKVI to learn what the decision is?

A CoS is 'used' when assigned. You will have to be patient and wait for your passport to find out if the visa has been granted or refused.

The status of cos is changed to 'used' once the decision is made on it. Before that the status is appearing as 'assigned'.
