Tier2 ICT to Tier2 General

I have come to UK on March 2013 via Tier2 ICT and my current visa is expiring on Jan 2017. At that point in time

a) Can i apply for Tier 2 General Visa via same or current sponsor (who sponsored my ICT)
b) if answer is yes to above question, Can i stay in UK for another 6 years from Jan 2017 ?
c) if answer is yes to point b above, when can i apply for ILR ?

a) No. You can only switch to Tier 2 General after serving a 12 month cooling off period in your home country, starting from the date you leave the UK. The only way you might be able to apply for Tier 2 G is if you find a sponsor offering in excess of £155k salary.

b) 6 years on Tier 2 G will start counting from the date this visa is issued.

c) After 5 years on Tier 2 G (as the rules stand now).
