child tax credit

My husbund is British and his annual salary is 42000£ and we have three children under 10 can he claim child tax credit if not what benfits is he entitle to.

On such a high salary, unlikely he will qualify for very much. Probably only child benefit.

Do you work?

He can complete the benefits calculator for an estimate of what he might qualify for.

Thank you for your reply I'm not working, and 40% percent of his salary is deducted as taxes.

40% deduction seems too high for £42,000. http://www.netsalarycalculator.co.uk/42000-after-tax/

40% now cuts in at £43,001
