Waiting for Naturalisation approval letter

Respected Experienced folks please guide me

NCS Appoitment MN1 (2 Yr old) :15 March
Fee deducted 2 April
Biometric done 15 April

1. Tentatively how long will it take to get Naturalisation approval letter ???
2. I am planning to travel back home country in August can my son travel only with Naturalisation approval letter ??
3. What will be next step after this letter ??

Assuming your child is UK born. Children are REGISTERED. Adults are NATURALISED.

1. It can take a couple of months or it can take many months to receive the REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE.

2. A registration certificate is NOT a travel document. Your son will need a passport. A child British passport can be applied for using the 1 week fast track service.

3. You get a citizenship certificate in the post for children. Once you have that, apply for British passport, see #2 above.
