Post by jai23155 » Thu May 12, 2016 4:02 pm

Hi, I have Tier-2 General visa and My wife is dependent valid till Spet 2017. I will be eligible for ILR this sept and I will be applying for it. Can I leave my wife's visa extension till Sept 2017?? If yes, can she travel? Thanks

how will u become eligible for ilr . Based on 5 years of tier 2 or 10 years legal stay.
If it is 5 years on tier 2, then yes she can continue on pbs dependent and extend her pbs dependent again before her leave expires. she can travel as well.
if you are going to ilr on 10 years route, then she will have to change to flr m.

She can extend nearer to the time of her current visa expiring. She is free to travel as long as her visa is valid.
