Doubt on COS cancellation

Post by India_123 » Thu May 12, 2016 10:07 pm

Hi All,

I am on Tier 2 ICT (granted before April 2011) and trying to switch to tier 2 general in UK.
I got a job offer from employer1 but they assigned COS with many mistakes. Meanwhile I got another better offer from employer2 as well. Now, before I accept the second offer, what are things i should make sure? I asked employer1 to withdraw the COS and they sent a screenshot from SMS showing the COS status as "withdrawn". Any other things i should check before I ask employer2 for new COS generation?

Thanks in advance.

Are you on Tier 2 ICT Established Staff?

Was your Tier 2 ICT granted before April 2010?

Are you being offered a salary in excess of £155k?

Thanks for your reply.

yes, I am on tier 2 established staff visa.

My tier 2 was initially on march 15th 2011, since then I've been renewing the visa in UK continuously and my current tier 2 ICT visa is valid till April 2017.

I am NOT being offered a salary in excess of £155k in my new job.

Hi All,

Could anyone please confirm if I have to do anything from my side on COS cancellation?

My new employer is going to issue COS this week. Should I tell them / mention it anywhere in visa process that there was a COS withdrawal earlier with different Sponser?

Kindly advice.Thanks in advance.
