Hello All,
My husband is applying for a Tier 2 Visa (General - Employer Sponsored), we do have a CoS. A month back we had applied but our Visa was refused for Inadequate Maintainence Funds and also for English Language test. So this time we were again given a New CoS from the Sponsor. Before we apply for the Visa I would like to list out the set of documents that will be required, would appreciate if your expert guidance can help us go through successfully this time. Would be obliged if I can have urgent response.
Documents Check List for Tier 2 Visa
_________________________________
1- complete Visa application Form
2- current and Previous Passports
3- Passport Sized Photos
4- Valid CoS
5- For English Language Ability Test
i- original Degree and Transcript
ii - letter from University for Merger and Medium of Instruction
iii - Naric Certificates (Compatibility and English Assesment)
6 - Maintainance proof
i - sponsor certifying the Maintainance on COS
ii - Personal Bank Statements and a letter from bank confirming level of funds on the bank’s original letter headed paper. (All docs signed and Stamped)

*NOTE*
The letter should state:

• the date of the letter;

Please let me know if I am missing on anything. Any help will be a great help!!

do you need a bank statement if the sponsor has certified maintenance on both CoS and Visa application.
And in the list of docs they also ask for proof of IHS fee payment.

Immigration Health Surcharge (click) must be paid before you can submit otherwise application will be rejected/refused.

We are planning to apply for Tier 2 Visa (G). My Husband has a degree from UK, he got his Degree in 2007, that time Name of the University was - UNIVERSITY OF GLAMORGAN, in 2009 this university mereged with the University of South Wales and as a result the new name of this University has become UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH WALES.
My query is - in Visa Application form, what should we put the University name as???
UNIVERSITY OF GLAMORGAN or UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH WALES??

I have merged your two topics so no need to do anything. Just carrying on in this thread with further questions on the same application.

There really is not need to keep posting the same question. When someone is available and willing to respond, they will.

My husband is on a Tier 2 General visa holder residing in the UK for over 1 month. I will be making a Tier 2 General Dependant application for myself from outside the UK. I know we will need to provide evidence of £630 maintenance. Can this be in the form money held in a bank account in my sole name? Or, will my husband need to have the money in his sole name or in a joint account with me?
A clarification in this regard will be much appreciated!
