It is too early to apply now for entry to the UK in November. You can only ask for a visa to be postdated by up to 3 months. She will only be issued with a 30 day vignette in her passport and has to travel within the 30 days and then collect her BRP card within 10 days of arriving.darthraki wrote:time is nearing to do my wifes settlement spouse visa so she can join me in the uk after our religious marriage in november in india.

Hi,CR001 wrote:She won't be issued a visa within 6 days if that is what you are expecting. HO will only post date a visa by 3 months as far as I am aware. Many people have requested dates in the future to travel and UKVI have issued visas ignoring or overlooking this.
Why the rush to do it now? Are you already married at present?
Yes, there have been many members posting that their 'intended date of travel' has been ignored and they have had to go through the stressful situation of trying to get the visa corrected as it was issued from date of decision. So you are saying that even if i submit a visa app now that they will ignore this date and just issue a date 3 months from now if accepted?
ah thank you for that info.CR001 wrote:Yes, there have been many members posting that their 'intended date of travel' has been ignored and they have had to go through the stressful situation of trying to get the visa corrected as it was issued from date of decision. So you are saying that even if i submit a visa app now that they will ignore this date and just issue a date 3 months from now if accepted?
Any reason why your spouse can't apply now and come to the UK and then you both return for the religious ceremony and celebrations?
Absolute nonsense. There is no restriction on traveling out of the UK at any time. HO is well known for providing very incorrect information and take no responsibility for it.oh i know why...because you are only allowed to go back for a certain period of time within the 33 months....i was told by ukvi over the phone when i rang up...
Lol, they said that you can leave the UK on the visa for no more than 6 weeks because there may be issues when applying to renew the visa after the 33 months is up.CR001 wrote:Absolute nonsense.
