Tier-2 ICT Dependent Visa to Tier-2 General Visa

Currently I am working on Tier-2 ICT visa and my wife is working on Tier-2 ICT Dependent Visa with different employer. My wife's employer is ready to sponser for her Tier-2 General visa. Si I have following queries:

1. Will she need to apply from India.
2. Will shre require Restricted CoS or Unrestricted CoS
3. Her Degree certificate has old surname (before marriage) while in all other documents has after marriage name. I have marriage certificate for this. So is that enough or what I need to do?
4. Does it require her to serve cooling off (I think not)
5. Will her existing dependent visa will be revoked?

1. Yes, she has to apply from home country.

5. If she is granted a Tier 2 General visa, her Tier 2 ICT dependent visa will be cancelled automatically. If her Tier 2 General visa is refused, it will have no effect on her current visa.

Can I join her on dependent without serving cooling off. And then when can I apply for T-2 General Visa after getting dependent visa without serving cooling off. So if I complete one yer as dependent, can I apply for T2 General as main applicant?

Yes to all your questions. You can switch to her dependent within the UK once she is back with tier 2 G. After 1 year, you will have to apply from home country for Tier 2 G again.

Each change in category will reset your ILR clock to zero and costs lots of money each time you change.
