ILR dependant-currently on Tier 2 Dependant visa

Hi all I was granted ILR in April 2016 via the Tier 2 General route. I applied for it via a 5 years route using the SET(0) form.

My wife was granted a PBS Dependant visa when i got my last Tier 2 visa. The visa will expire in February 2017.
Reading through the forum I understand that she should be able to extend as a PBS dependant till she can apply for here own ILR (She arrived in the UK in August 2014)

I am a bit wary of the regular home office rule changes, so I am asking these questions again ,so that some one can provide me the latest guidance. Apologies if this has been asked before.

1. Can she continue to be on her current PBS dependant visa and apply for an extension before the visa expires in February 2017 ?
2. If answer to the question is no , please advise what should be the next step ?

Hi CR001, apologies to resurrect an old thread ,but thought it to better than opening a new one. Wondering if you can advise me here.

It is time for me to prepare for my wife's PBS dependant visa extension and I am trying to establish the form to use . The only PBS dependant form seems to the Tier 1 or 5 Dependant form here. Is this the correct form to use given that my wife was last provided a PBS dependant visa as a Tier 2 Dependant ? Thanks in advance

No, you have to use Tier 2 Dependent which is an online form only. There is no longer a paper form.
