Dear Sir or Madam
Re: Application for a UK Settlement Visa – xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx
I am writing in support of my wife, Mrs. Xxxxxx xxxxx, in respect of her visa application to settle with me in the United Kingdom.
Brief Background
I am a British born national living in England, U.K (see file Appendix x.x). I am an xxxxxxxxxx (see Appendix x.x) and have been employed in this new job succeeding my old one since xxxxxxxx. From seeing my Company Contract and Pay Slips (see file Appendix x.x & x.x), I am fully capable of supporting my wife upon her arrival. Mrs. Xxxxxx xxxx herself is very keen to find employment as soon as possible using her existing experience within the xxxxxx xxxx to find a job on the ground at xxxxxx xxxxxx and start contributing to the family income to build a better future. In addition, my parents have kindly offered to let us stay at their house rent-free for as long as we need – (see file Appendix x.x for more information.)
Relationship History
Mrs. Xxxxx xxxxx and I first met in October 2014 when I went for a Holiday visit to Punjab, India. We started seeing each other shortly after that. I told my parents and arranged for them to talk to Mrs. Xxxxx xxxx mother in regards to asking for their daughter to be wedded into our family. We got engaged on xxxxxxx xxxxxxx and applied to have a court marriage at the local courts in Jalandhar, Punjab. Our Indian marriage certificate is included with the submitted documents (see file Appendix x.x).
Since our engagement, we have become more close and have been in constant touch with each other including myself talking to her family as well as Mrs. xxxxxx talking to my parents and sisters on a regular basis. I have included documents that show our conversations – (see file Appendix xx.x – xx.x).
As I am employed full time, it’s difficult for me to get any time off as I have taken my 22 days’ annual holidays for my religious wedding in November 2016 in India. I will be arriving into the country on xxxxxx xxxxx (see file Appendix xx.x)
Current Circumstances
At the time of writing this, I am currently in the UK finalising all the tasks remaining for my religious wedding in India on xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
I have been employed now for 8 months in my current job and will be exploring prospects to be looking at purchasing my first property in 2017 with xxxxxx once she has found her feet and got a job hopefully within the xxxxxxxxx.
We have discussed in great detail of our plans of where to live, look where it would be suitable for Mrs. Xxxxx xxxx to work.
Mrs. Xxxxx xxxxx will of course remain in India to await the outcome of her application and is already very excited at our upcoming religious wedding as well as being with me in the UK.
We are also planning our honeymoon sometime in 2017 – maybe on our first anniversary for our engagement.
I thank you for taking the time to read this letter of support and trust that we have been able to provide sufficient evidence that we are in a genuine and subsisting relationship and that I am able to fully support my wife in the UK.
Mrs. Xxxxxx xxxx has included my UK contact details in section x of the application form but I have also included them below:
Mr. xxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxx xxxxxxxx
M: xxxxxxxxxxx
Work: xxxxxxxx xxxxxxx
Should you require any further information from me, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Yours faithfully,
Mr. xxxxxxx xxxxxx
