All supporting documents sent by applicant?

Post by sajan patel » Sun Jun 05, 2016 10:20 am

Hi,

please could anyone advise me, i apologise in advance if this has been asked before. I am new here and i cannot find anything related to my query.

Does the applicant have to send "all" supporting documents with their application including the sponsor's, or do the authorities contact the sponsor and request it?

The process depends on where you are applying from?

HO don't write and say 'ok send us your documents'. If you don't submit what is asked for, the application will be refused.

From the philippines... ok so i'd send all by courier. i was getting confused and thought, if the application is processed here in uk then my portion of the supporting documents could be sent to the relevant office with a reference number. i guess that's just wishful thinking..

You need to follow the process on the VFS website.

You obviously don't have to send your original passport, copies will suffice for that.
