How to contact UKVI

Post by verylesstime9 » Tue Jun 07, 2016 4:43 pm

I applied for my 2 dependants on 25/06/2016 for Tier 2 extension.

I haven't received BRP enrolment letter yet.

Q1. Is this normal behaviour ?

Q2. How can I contact UKVI ? email or phone please ?

Thanks

Are you sure?

Q1. Yes, it is normal. Relax, it takes a couple of weeks.

Q2. Suggest try to be a bit patient. HO works in their own time, not according to migrants wishes or schedules.

And the timelines are mainly Tier 2 G main applicants/switch/extensions and not a busy thread in the bigger scheme of applications submitted.

If there was a problem, HO will likely write to you.

Have the fees been debited?

Yes, fees are debited, here is the timeline.

1. Type of application: Tier 2 General Extension (Only dependents) Standard Postal
2. If switching, category changing (switching) from: N/A
3. Date of expiry of current leave: 14-07-2016
4. Number of dependents applying at same time: 2 (main applicant already received extension)
5. Rating of sponsor: A
6. Application method: Postal
7. Submitted Application (Online): 25-05-2016
8. Date application posted: 27-05-2016
9. Date application (documents) received at HO: 31-05-2016
10. Date payment debited: 26-05-2016
11. Payment mode: Debit Card
12. Acknowledgement Letter Issue date : N/A
13. Acknowledgement letter received: N/A
14. BM letter issue date: waiting
15. Biometric letter received: waiting
16. Date of biometric enrolment: waiting
17. Date of approval: waiting
18. Date of return of passport and other documents: waiting
19. Date (new) leave to remain valid until: waiting
20. Date BRP received: waiting

I haven't received any acknowledgement about if they received supporting document or not as well, however I just looked at Post office tracking and it is delivered to the right address.

How enrollment letters are issued ? Are they issued automatically after fees is debuted or case officer go through case first and then issue it ?

Thanks

So not really two weeks yet as HO received it on 31st May.

Once application is put on the system etc they should send a letter. It might be on its way already.
