UK Ancestry visa enquiry- Requirements?

Hi moderators,

I have a question regarding the UK ancestry visa.

My grandfather was a Singapore citizen who then became UK citizen in January 1970. He came to the UK April 1970.He was born in India.

I would like to know if it is possible for my sister to come to the UK who is currently in India on UK Ancestry visa. My granddad was a UK citizen when she was born.

Any advice would be appreciated. Many thanks.

Pretty sure BIRTH of either grandparent in UK is a requirement.......

You must also show that you have a grandparent born in 1 of the following circumstances:

In the UK, including the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man
Before 31 March 1922 in what is now the Republic of Ireland
On a British-registered ship or aircraft

You must also show that you have a grandparent born in 1 of the following circumstances:
