MN1 - visa already expired

Post by Mavette » Thu Jun 09, 2016 12:14 pm

Hello! Hope someone can advise. I will be applying for my son's registration. He was born in UK 2014. My husband and I recently received our ILR, we didn't apply ILR for our son. Our son's UK dependent visa just expired on May 31,2016. Will his application for Registration be refused because he doesn't have a valid UK
visa?
Thank you.

Not an issue. A UK born child does not require ILR or valid leave to register as British. The child is entitled to register.
