Need clarification on Tax office mentioned in AN form

Need clarification on Tax office mentioned in AN form

Hi,

My wife has worked for initial two years after we came to UK and since then she's been a home maker. for 1.49 Address of tax office or tax office reference..

1. Do I need to just give the most recent PAYE reference (last employer) she worked with (its for my limited company as an employee) or do I need to provide the details of the first company as well?

2. In the Details of your employment section.. should I just mention "home maker" in 1.45 "what is your occupation?"

Thanks for any inputs.

1. This refers to CURRENT employment. If she is currently unemployed, leave this blank as she is obviously not paying tax and earning.

2. Yes, for current 'employment'. She will have to list ALL employment in the form in the relevant section.

thank you for the prompt response CR001! much appreciated.

Do I need to submit P60s for her or should I not include them? For my wife I haven't submitted any of her financial records till now to home office as it wasn't specifically asked for (she was on a tier1 dependent visa before ILR)

No, they are not required. As long as she paid the relevant tax/NI on her income when she was working, it is fine.
