ILR Dependant application from outside UK

Dear senior members,
Please help me!
I have been in UK on TIER 1 General until 6th March 2016 and my wife joined me in UK from September 2012 as TIER 1 general Dependant. We had a baby girl born in UK on 1st April 2015 while I was on Tier1 General and wife on Tier 1 general dependant. I have registered birth in UK, wife and Baby wanted to visit India at that time as family wished to see the baby so I applied for Indian passport for baby and they left last Year in Sept 2015, and staying in India currently.

In the Meantime, I applied for ILR on 10 Year route on 5th march 2016 and received it on 26/04/2016.
While my wife and baby still in India. (Wife dependant visa also expired the same time my Tier 1 General visa expired which is on 06/03/2016). Baby born in UK while I was on Tier 1 General category in UK, now in India with Indian passport and UK birth certificate, I’m on Settlement ILR in UK (my BRP card says valid until 31/12/2024)

I would like my Wife and baby to join me in UK but confused with what options I have to apply for wife and baby to join me as it’s not clear what type of application we should choose to apply and the IHS charges.

Please help me and sorry for the long story !

Spouse/child settlement visas - VAF4A adn Appendix FM

It really is a shame as your wife has now lost the time she has already spent in the UK and will have to start again from scratch with a new 5 year (2 x 2.5 year visas) route to ILR.

CR001, @ time lost: not really. He has got ilr through lr, so she would have had to change to flrm anyway and start from zero.

So I have to "Apply to join family living permanently in the UK" application first to bring them from India to UK and make another application immediately for my wife on FLR(M) once in UK to start the count on the new 5 yr ILR ?

No, the apply to join family is the spouse/child settlement visa. They will get an initial 30 day visa vignette in their passports (they must travel within this 30 days) and will have to collect their BRP cards from the Post Office within 10 days of arriving back in the UK.

The spouse/child visa will be valid for 30 or 33 months. It is only nearer to expiry of this visa that she has to apply for the FLR(M) extension.
