Decree absulute

Post by aakayamy79 » Sat Jun 18, 2016 1:59 am

Salaam

I am not sure if this section is the right place to post this but If not please advice me where to post this.

I got my decree absulute on the 10th june 2016 by the London family court. I need to contact Home office and send them my divorce certificate and make them aware my marriage has now ended and I wish to cancel my (ex wifes) visa.
Can someone tell me where do I send this too and what else do I need to send along with my letter and a copy of my decree absulute.

Please help.

Thanks.

Alternately your (ex)wife should be capable of doing this for herself - the responsibility to inform HO is mutual.
Maybe she has done this already.

She has no intentions to contact home office as from what I have been told.
I have been advised to do this myself as I am a British born citizen and she came over from Pakistan on a spouse visa and only has few months left for the visa to expire.

You need to follow the proper process of informing HO. See the link with the form below.

She will not be able to extend her spouse visa to remain in the UK without your support.
