Anyone done a Passport Interview recently?

Post by qwerty321 » Sun Jun 19, 2016 12:05 pm

Hi,

My wife has her Citizenship ceremony coming up soon so will be applying for her British passport soon after. I've had a look through the posts here about what kind of questions can come up but the latest ones seem to be from around last year. From experience, things relating to visas and nationality can change often!

Any advice would be much appreciated.

The questions remain the same as posted in the threads on the forum. The interview is to confirm the applicants identity and to ask the applicant specific questions that only they should know, ie how bank accounts, how do you get to work, parents names etc.

My colleague's wife had one last week.
I had shared questions from the forum with him.

They (or variations of similar questions) apparently came up in the interview.

The lady is now the proud holder of a shiny new British passport.
