Applying for spousevisa

Post by kunkun30 » Mon Jun 20, 2016 3:30 pm

Hello this is my first post so I'm sorry if it is in the wrong place

My question is as follows , I am due to be married on the 4th march 2017 in india, after I am married I will return here to the uk where I have lived all my life.
Once back here I will apply for my wife to come and live here with me , I have read that if earnings are showing 18600 then it is not a problem and have to show 9300 for the last six months , this I can.
The main thing is I do not have much savings at all in the bank , is there a certain amount that I have to have saved up?
By the the time of applying I would have some savings , is there a minium they are looking for me to have ? or is it that I earn the amount of 18600 and that's all they are looking at ?
also to boost my svaings in my current account I have shares in royal mail that I can withdraw that amount to around 1600£ for my first allocation of shares , ontop of that I would be saving a little also , when appkying for the visa and sending off bank statemeants would it affect the out come if they have seen I have withdrawn part of my shares to boost my savuings up ? or is it the fact I'm earning the amount all they are looking for?
Thanks for your time look foreward to any responces

There is no requirement to have savings if you meet the financial requirement with your salary.

UKVI/HO only want to see that you earn the required amount if employed for 6 months, with payslips and bank statements.
