Professional Reference for MN1 Application

Post by ILR_MN1 » Tue Jun 21, 2016 11:31 pm

Hi All,

Just need to know if both referees on the MN1 application form needs to be British citizens. I have one referee who is British but I dont know anyone who is professional and British. My GP practice says that they will not provide the reference as they dont normally do it unless medial reasons.

Will it be ok if a professional non UK passport holder signed as a professional referee or it needs to be a British passport holder?

Your answer will be highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Yes, provided they know the child or are professionally engaged with the child.

Thanks CR001, That solved a lot of hassle to find someone who is british passport holder as a referee. I know few people from the list who are professional but on ILR rather than passport holder.

Thanks,
