Applying for ILR(M)Extension

Post by Krishnaja » Mon Jun 27, 2016 1:17 am

Hello Guys,
I came to London in Aug 2013 as Tier2 Dependent (my wife has got an ILR in March 2016) so i'm applying for ILR(M) Extension.

Please Can some one Answer my question in ILR(M) Section 10.13 about How long have you lived in UK?

Is this question supposed be answered keeping in mind TIER2 Dependent Date?
Please can some one Respond as soon as possible because i have taken premium appointment at Croydon on 30/06/2016.

Regards,
Mahender

There is no ILR(M) or ILR extension. Previously you said your wife qualified for ILR. Is she applying for ILR on form SET(M) or FLR(M), a 2.5 year extension to her current visa?

Thanks for your quick Reply,

SORRY IT WAS NOT ILR (M), OR ILR EXTENSION.

I AM APPLYING FOR FLR(M) A 2.5 year extension to her visa.

FLR(M) Section 10.13 about How long have you lived in UK?

Is this question supposed be answered keeping in mind TIER2 Dependent Date?

thank you once again,

Did your wife get ILR based on 10 years long residence or based on 5 years residence as Tier 2 General?

You can continue to extend your existing Tier 2 Dependent visa until you meet the requirements for ILR. You DO NOT have to switch to FLR(M) and if you do, this will reset your clock to zero and you will start a new 5 year period from scratch.

Hi Croo1,

Thanks for quick response,
Please can you clarify the following point
1) which is the correct form that i need to use for extension as i will be running out of my TIER2 dependent visa on 20th Aug 2016 and i have 2 years to complete to qualify for my ILR.

Awaiting your response as soon as possible,

Kind Regards,
Mahender
