By passport I assume you mean 'British Passport'.

On what basis did you obtain ILR (10 years long residence or 5 years PBS)?

How long has your spouse been in the UK and a PBS dependent?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply,

I was on HSMP Tier 1 General in 2009 (2+ 3) and got my ILR and got my passport in december 2015 now my wife came here on PBS dependent in 2013 Feb and then got visa for 3 years (3 Years + 2 years) so her first 3 years will complete on 1st Aug 2016 but as i got my passport on Dec 2015 do i need to apply as FLR (M ) or is she eligible to just extend her visa on PBS Dependent (Category the one she came to UK in 2013).

and If i can apply on PBS Dependant Do i need to pay ISH (NSH Charge) ?

Thanks for your help !

She can continue to extend her PBS Dependent visa. Yes, she will have to pay the immigration health surcharge before she submits her extension application.

Hi,

Thanks for you reply,

I don't know why Home Office says "No" to me . I call them yesterday and they said as your status is changed to british citizen now she should be applying for FLR (M) .You can't extend her visa on PBS Dependant so that's why i got confused .

Thanks,

Pratik

It's probably because CR001 knows more about the Immigration Rules than the person answering the UKVI's phones. They should consider hiring her.

Try calling them again and you may get a different answer.
