Settlement Visa For My Sons That Live in Nigeria

Post by Beejay » Wed Jun 29, 2016 2:51 pm

Hi,

I have three sons that live with their mother in Nigeria and I am want to bring the two older ones to live with me in the UK. Their ages are 11 and 8. I have read through the requirements and I understand them but the only concern I have is that I live here on my own, I'm just wondering if this may affect thier visa application decision.
If you been in this situation in the past or you know the best way to go about this please let me know.

Many thanks.

You would need show and prove sole responsibility and possibly DNA if you were/are not married to their mother.

Unlikely children will be granted visas if the other parent is not moving to the UK as well.
