BRP dates vs Actual date of entry

Post by jedward002 » Thu Jun 30, 2016 1:56 pm

Hi,

I have simple question - I am on short term ICT visa. I entered UK on September 20, 2015 but my BRP shows VISA valid till September 8th 2016. The short term visa stats that I can stay for 12 months from the entry date. Could you please confirm If I can stay till September 19th 2016 in UK.

The reason I ask is the client wants to extend my stay but I am not eligible for Long term. We are getting a new replacement for me but he/she is not yet identified. I have to give a hand over which is easy 1-2 months task.

Thanks in advance.

You should not stay past your visa expiry date ideally.
