help for previous medical treatment history filling

Post by Adamshah » Mon Jul 11, 2016 9:45 am

Hi ,
Going through very confused situation , don't know which section here should I ask my doubt . Please help me guys , I'm so tensed about this .

I am on tier 1 Entrepreneur visa . Query is for my wife's dependant visa . The problem is she has visited me last year in general tourist visa . Just for 2 months . She got pregnant that time . She had some pregnancy related difficulties . I was not aware that I can not take Gp consultation in tourist visa . I went to Gp registers there using her Indian passport copy and tourist visa copy . The girl in the reception registered us . Nurse did pregnancy test and told us to go to the Nearst hospital for blood test . Went for blood test next week and we have not received any bills for that . We thought it is free service . And later received a letter from midwife for appoint and basic check ups . We went for that as well .
Later we came to know on visitor visa we can't take this Nhs services . Now I am planning to apply for her visa tier 1 entrepreneur dependant . What I fill in the question , previous medical treatment history in uk ? As I can't take a free services from nhs , will it affect her application if I said yes to question . if I say No to that it is a criminal offence I think . I'm Confused , please help me

Yes, it will affect her application and if you say no and HO checks, it is deception.

Suggest you arrange to pay the NHS bill asap and then submit the receipt of payment with the application.

Thanks ! That's what I am planning to do . But , how do I make payment now ? I don't think I can make on behalf of her . She is in India . When I called my Gp , they said they want to see my wife and she needs to talk to her directly .

Contact the finance department of the hospital where you did her tests. They will be able to issue the bills and then you can pay them.

Thanks . Yes I been to my GP today , I think they realised their mistake and they said they have cancelled wife's Nhs register number . Number is not there any more and it is no more valid . Is that mean she is no more in the Nhs data base ?

After I went to the hospital where the blood test happened . Even they don't have any idea about wife's test record and any other records .

Is that mean , can I give no to the question " have u taken any medical treatment in uk " ? Or yes to the same question and Explain the situation ?

They cannnot cancel an NHS number when it has all that treatment recorded against it. It sounds like they have just taken your wife off their surgery list.

All the details of all your wife and her adddress and treatment, will be recorded against her NHS number.

If your wife answers "no" to using the NHS,then she is using deception on her application.
She was allowed to use the NHS when she visited, but she was not allowed to use it for free.

People in your wife's situation, get their partner in the UK to go back and pay for them using the the NHS. Then they correctly answer "Yes" on their application and enclose a copy of that NHS receipt to show that they have paid in full. Your wife's NHS bill won't be that much and paying that could a save a lot of problems.

Using decption to get a visa, even if you get away with it at the time, usually comes back to bite you. Take a look on the ILR board at all those refused ILR because UKVI have now discovered they used deception on a previous visa application.

Thanks petsltop ,

I am so much worried about this case , it's been over a month I'm behind this . Asked the same questions to different solicitors and experienced friends .No one can give a proper answer .
I went to the GP , they said they don't have any bills pending on my wife's name and went to the hospital where she done the blood test , went to their financial department also . They are saying no records found , and no pending bills ; they said if anything pending they will write by letter by that time itself . It's been over 1 year now . I said I am ready to pay whatever the amount is , but they are asking me without any pending bills or records , how they could do that . So confused , what will I write in the application now . Yes or no . Or shall I say no and explain these things in more details section . Will it make any difference ? Please help me !!

Hi Adamshah,

Did you get the visa for your wife? What had you put in the application?

Appreciate if you could help, as I have a similar situation for my mother's application

If your question relates to your mother's visit visa application, please post in the forum link below with all the relevant details. Your question is not appropriate for the Tier 1 Ent forum.
