Sponsor someone from India..

Hi just after some advice, I sponsored someone from India in 2012, I sent a sponsorship letter addressed to the entry clearance officer, sponsorship declaration I think it was called, and all the wage slips bank statements etc as I going to pay everything for the relation myself. They were granted a visa. I Am going to be doing this again for another relation now but when I go on the uk border visa section everything as changed and I cannot find anything to sponsor someone from abroad.
Could someone please advise me where to obtain this information and more importantly if I can still sponsor someone and also financially support them for their stay here? As they do not have the means to do this. I will paying for everything air fare etc. It's too attend a wedding.

You can just write a letter and provide your supporting documents.

For a Standard Visitor visa, the applicant has to provide documentary evidence of their strong ties to home country and their personal and financial circumstances in their home country.

Visitor visas are a bit tougher to get now.
