Citizenship Decision Letter not Received

Post by mobeenkhan » Mon Jul 18, 2016 12:55 pm

Hi All,

Hope any of you will be able to advice me on this one! Well I applied for Naturalisation via Bristol NCS on 23rd Nov 2015. Got acknowledgement from homeoffice for start of process on 16th Dec 2015. Enrolled Biometrics by 20th of Dec 2015. After this I never heard from homeoffice apart from an email asking me to fill in a survey for them in March 2016. I've sent homeoffice numerous emails regarding status of my application and finally they replied back to my email on 16th July 2016 stating that according to their records, decision was made on 4th of Feb 2016 and a letter was sent to me on the 8th of Feb 2016.

Now that I have not received any letter, and as everyone know, we have to book ceremony within 21 days of receiving approval letter, what will happen in my case. The email that I received mentioned calling 0300 123 2253 immediately. When called, they said that they are not sure why this number was provided in the first place as they deal with on-going applications only and since in my case decision has been made so I need to do something else. They provided me with the following email address citizenship.support@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk

Is there any other number or email address where I could call to receive another letter from the home office? Or will I have to make another application to the home office for naturalisation. It is clearly not my fault that Royal Mail failed to deliver the post. I've been checking my post twice daily ever since I made the application and I never received any post from home office.

Can anyone advise me in this regard. Really worried.

Thank you

Kind Regards

Did you move or change address?

Did you maybe miss the letter (it is a brown A5 envelope which could appear to be junk mail)??
