English Test for Flr Fp

I took and passed my GESE Grade 2 Test from Trinity College last week while I'm still overstayer... The college send me this email this morning:


"We are sorry for the current delay to the delivery of your certificate

Unfortunately, your certificate will not be posted out today as we need to ensure that your result is available to the Home Office to verify before issuing your certificate"

What does it mean though? Can you take English test while you overstayed your visa? Would that matter I'm a overstayer?

It means exactly what it says. They are waiting for HO to verify before issuing the certificate.

So the home office will find out I'm overstaying and can come and detained me?
Came here in 2009 as student, got married( civil partnership) in 2011 applied and got my Flr(m), relationship broke down and my partner left me, my visa expired in 2013. Met my current British boyfriend in the same year and been together for 3 years and 4 months in total. We went to see a solicitor and advised to apply for Flr Fp private life unmarried same sex.

And oh dissolution of civil partnership has been granted last year from my previous partner

Should I panic and apply Flr Fp without the certificate or it'll be fine? I knew someone overstayed too and took the same test and got his certificate no problem.

Any advice guys

You are panicking for no reason. Wait for the certificate. If apply without it, your application will be invalid.
