Post by londonukguy » Sun Jul 24, 2016 9:22 pm

I would like to ask as I am sending my application for naturization and last section of form it said
Form AN Application form (version 01/16)
*I declare that, although I do not meet all of the statutory requirements for
naturalisation, I believe that, in view of the following special circumstances, the
Home Secretary should treat me as fulfilling those requirements or waive the need
in my case to fulfil them.
*Delete if not applicable
Special circumstances – which requirements do you think you fail to meet and what are the
special circumstances? (continue on page 22 if necessary)
Please sign below once you are satisfied you have completed the form correctly
. Fees are
not fully refundable for applications that fail. You are recommended to read the Guide AN and
Booklet AN, particularly those sections on how to qualify and the residence requirements.
I have minor immigration offence in last 10 year and it could be disregarded.
My question is do i have to mention in declration about my previous immigration history even putting refrence mean HO has all my detail.
Does it come under statutory requirements??any issue in chracter is not fulfiling statutory requirements??

If your asylum was refused, you should wait till 2017 to apply for citizenship, 10 years from when you left, in order to meet the good character requirement.
