Residence for BC application of wife

Post by tan777 » Tue Jul 26, 2016 2:42 pm

Dear experts,
I was granted BC earlier in this month (july 2016). Planning to submit BC application for my wife in August - who will complete 1 year post ILR then. I have a question regarding Residence Requirement, section 2 of AN. It says if you are married to a BC , give details of last 3 years only. Given technically she is married to a BC - should I only give 3 years details for her in form? or it has to be full 5 years given she wasn't in marriage to BC all the time in last 3 years. It's confusing - please clarify.

3 years.

Make sure that on the date of application she was physically present in the UK on exactly the same date in 2013.

If applying through NCS - date of application is the date of your NCS appointment.

If applying by post - date of application is the day +1 that HO receives it.
