CoS while maternity leave

Hi,

I am on Tier 2 ICT dependent visa valid until March 2018. And I am currently employed in a permanent role. I believe my company will sponsor me close to end of my current visa.

If I plan to have a baby and March 2018 would fall in my maternity leave period and I would not have got sponsorship as I would be on leave from past few months. What are the chances that my company will give CoS while I am on leave.

A bit soon to be asking about what the rules will be in March 2018!!

You do realise you have to apply for a Tier 2 General from your home country and the full and proper RLMT process will need to be completed to prove you are not 'pre-selected', which will be difficult given that you are already working for them.

i think the OP might be asking about extending her ICT while being on maternity.
if that is the case, if and when you are on maternity and want to have the extension done, your employer can issue u a cos and dont have to show that u are being paid at right level. they do however have to show that u were being paid at right level just before starting of maternity.

Obviously, a PBS Dep does not need a CoS themselves.
