FLR(M) Questions for application

Post by thomasshave » Tue Aug 09, 2016 2:58 pm

Hi there; my girlfriend is on the 5-year immigration route, and we are currently applying for FLR(M).
I have a few questions that I wonder if anyone could help me with:

Firstly, with the application form itself:
1) The new fee is £400 more than the fee from before. However, pages 7-8 do not reflect this. What do I need to do?

2)How long has sponsor been in UK - I have put 33 years 9 months then put (since birth), is that okay

3) When did you enter the UK? on p.18. Does this mean the first time ever? If not, to when does it refer?

4) p18. Have you ever been refused a visa for any country, including the UK?
When applying for her masters, my girlfriend didn't include a letter from her father saying she could use his funds. It was rejected, and she reapplied and got it the second time. How should she write this?

5) On p21, "Add all addresses you and your sponsor have lived at in the 2 years preceding this application...
Do we start with our current address?

6) P.57. 12.1 Is your current Passport, travel document of national identity card enclosed? There is no tickbox; is it only the tick box in 12.1.1?

Other questions:

7) I have taken a new job, but it commences in September. I have all relevant documentation from previous job including confirmation that it is permanent. Do I need to mention my new job?

8 ) Does the evidence about living together have to cover the last 2.5 years or the last 2 years? This is a bit unclear in the documentation.

9) I am lacking a piece of evidence to cover me for the house we lived at for the first 6 months of our current visa. I have letters, but not of the specified type on the form. I have:
A letter from university regarding academic transcripts.
A letter from eon regarding service, but not a bill
A letter from our lettings company regarding vacating that property.
Might any of these be okay?

Many thanks,
Tom

Applying by post, but on page 7 of our application it says £811 and it was my understanding that there was an increase these year of £400

It is indeed £811 PLUS the £500 immigration health surcharge.

Do we start with our current address? Joint address/addresses since entry

Other questions:

7) I have taken a new job, but it commences in September. I have all relevant documentation from previous job including confirmation that it is permanent. Do I need to mention my new job? If you are applying by post be aware that the Case Worker may call your employer to verify ongoing employment.

Thankyou so much for your response.

A couple of follow ups.

1) As the case worker may call my employer, should I have a letter with the application explaining that I am moving to a new employer in September? In case, I got all the relevant documentation from my new employer anyway.

2) "when did you first enter the UK?" on p.18 - This is on the current entry visa. However, she applied and received when here, therefore she didn't enter. Do we put the start date of this current visa, or the first time she re-entered the UK having left for a trip?

Thankyou again,
Tom

FLR(M) application questions

Post by tshave » Sat Aug 13, 2016 5:45 pm

Hi there,

Finishing up an application for FLR(M) and have a few questions.

Q1.13 Home Office Reference Number -
We have a reference number from a previous application but it is too long for the box provided so we're not sure if it's the right number. It starts with LING1

Q5.2 When did you first enter the UK? -
As I applied from within the UK for my last visa, I assume that I put the start date for my current (most recent) visa for this, as opposed to the first time I entered the UK on my first visa (a student visa several years ago), is that correct?

Q6.8 All addresses you and your sponsor have lived at in the 2 years preceding this application-
We're including our current address, but are not sure what to put in the "To" box which provides a space for DD/MM/YYYY - how do we fill it in to explain that we still live here?

Q7.3A Income from salaried employment
We are only relying on my sponsor's employment as I am currently unemployed - In the column for 'You' (my employment details), do I leave this blank, or fill it in with No or N/A?

General Question: There are a lot of sections which we do not need to fill in, do you advise to just leave these sections blank or to indicate in some way that they are not applicable? (e.g. cross the question out, etc.) - sorry if this is getting a bit nitpicky!! Just want to be sure.

Thank you in advance :)

Why have you registered a new/different username and asking virtually the same questions again when you have already been given advice.

Decide which username you want to keep and the other will be disabled. Multiple usernames is not permitted.

Because the other account got banned with no explanation given, making us unable to ask follow up or further questions, which I've asked here.

If you need to disable one of the accounts please disable the other one as we are not able to use it anymore.

Thanks.

The other one is NOT banned. It is likely you were trying to log in from a mobile network (O2 maybe) as some mobile network IPs are blocked and we have no control over that. The other username is definitely still active as I have tested out the permissions.

The other one is NOT banned. It is likely you were trying to log in from a mobile network (O2 maybe) as some mobile network IPs are blocked and we have no control over that. You will find that you will probably be able to log in if connected to a wifi network.

The other username is definitely still active as I have tested out the permissions.

Hi, we tried to log on and I had forgotten the password, so I tried to request a new one. It told me I could not request a new one. After I tried to log on again, it told me my IP was banned. I looked up how to contact admin, and there was a post saying you couldn't unless you have posted 30 or more things. I wasn't sure what to do, and we're pretty worried about the application as it is due soon and we want to make sure we got everything exactly right, so thought a new account would be simplest.

Would be happy to keep going with the other one if I can get the password reset?

Many thanks,
Tom
