What's Next After FLR(M)

Post by zkzipoo » Wed Aug 10, 2016 4:26 pm

Hi, all

I currently got my FLR(M) with a BRP. However, I am wondering what to do with my old visa.

I went to UK with a marriage visa which will expire on 16/08/2016.
Do I need to replace my marriage visa to a spouse visa? Could anyone help, please?

Thanks

I applied on 02/07/2016 by using a premium service so it was a same-day-decision. It's valid from 07/07/2016.

thanks

You've already replaced your old visa with FLR(M) issued in July.

Hi, Casa
Thank you for your patience.
So I don't need to replace my visa on my passport? If I leave the UK and return, shall I show my passport or BRP to the officers on the UK customs.

Thanks

Your BRP is your new 'visa' which is valid for 2.5 years, after which you'll need to apply for another 2.5 year FLR(M) extension before qualifying for ILR.
