claiming child tax credit and other benefit

Hello there

My application of ILR has been pending with home office and i dont know how long they going to take..my wife is british and we got 2 kids. My question is will caliming benefit affect my ILR and what benefits my wife qualify for.

Your wife can claim child benefit in her name only.

Tax credits MUST be claimed in JOINT names.

Should not have an effect but your problem is you have no passport.

Your wife can check her entitlement based on your circumstances and household income in the link below.
