Spouse visa extension help

Post by Benana82 » Sun Aug 28, 2016 4:09 pm

Hello all.
my wife is applying FLR(M) extension of stay in the UK as spouse. For the financial requirements she falls under Cat F Self employed. We are combining our finances (Cat F and Cat B). In the Financial Requirements guide it says all sources of income must fall within the same financial year. So she will have to show her documents for tax year 2015/2016. Does this mean I need to show documents from the same financial year, which would be my previous employment that ended in Nov 2015, or documents from the date I started my employment (1/5/2016). Any help would be much appreciated.
Benny

BRP

Post by Benana82 » Sun Aug 28, 2016 9:32 pm

Hey,
My wife applied for her Spouse visa from Thailand in nov 2013. She remembers giving her Biometric details at an office in Bangkok but that was it. No card. No letter. Nothing to tell her to pick it up in the UK like the home office site says. Does anyone know if the brp regs were changed after she applied? We are now applying for extension leave to remain as a spouse and don't have a BRP number. Do we need to sort it out at post office if we are applying premium?

Not relevant if she applied for entry clearance outside the UK. Nothing she needs to do except list when her biometrics taken (month/year) for her initial visa.

Also, please don't start a new topic for each question you have on the same application, keep all questions in a single topic.
