Tier -2 ICT - Dependent

hello All - my wife is getting a Tier-2 Intra Company Transfer visa to the UK and I am planning to apply a dependent along with her. Will I be able to work full time with the dependent visa? If yes, is there a chance of me changing the Visa type from dependent to Tier-2 (provided I have enough salary / funds to show)? Kindly help

Yes you can work full time except as dentist or doctor I training.

Yes you can apply for tier 2 General but you can only apply from home country and provided you have not been in the UK as Tier 2 General in the 12 months before applying.

Bear in mind that tier 2 ICT category is exempt from the immigration health surcharge whereas tier 2 General it is mandatory to pay for main applicant and dependents.

If you have a sponsor in the UK once here, they will have to complete the full and proper RLMT process before they can offer job to you and issue a CoS, to prove to HO with documentary evidence that you were not pre-selected and that no UK/EU or settled person is available for the job.
