IHS Payment-Which option is Right?

Post by sunshine16 » Thu Sep 01, 2016 4:13 pm

I am applying for my wife visa through FLR FP route (family life as partner). i have ILR and we have two British Kids. Due low income i cannot apply thorough FLRM. My wife dependent visa expiring soon so applying for her though FLR FP.

I am in the middle of paying IHS fee for wife visa and the online payment application is giving these options please help which option is right in our case.

1.
Visa route
Discretionary leave

Visa type
Discretionary leave, 2.5 years
Discretionary leave,3 years

2.
Visa route
Further leave to Remain-FLR

Visa type
Family and private life-FLR(FP).

Am i right to choose option 2?
Please help.

Thanks Casa. Can you please guide me with question as well. please

Are you applying to join or remain with a person already in the UK?
+ Add this person's details
You don't need to add this person's details if they are a UK or EEA citizen.

Do i need to fill this part? Or skip it?

Skip it. If you add your details it will include you in the calculation for the NHS surcharge, giving a higher fee. :(

For the immigration surcharge DO NOT add your details. Your wife must apply alone.
