T1E Extn. (Before application) - BRP Question

Hello Members,

I have seen a lot of people mentioning that they submitted their BRP cards (along with application) while applying for T1E extension application. I wonder when did they get their BRP cards ? I believe people who applied for extension, obviously were on T1E before myself and with a vignette for entire duration in their passports. (I assume a BRP is issued if the vignette in the passport is only for 30 days). How did they got a BRP, while applying for extension application ?

I am on T1E visa since Dec 2014 but have not received any BRP for myself or my dependents.

Could someone please clear the confusion?

Did you apply from inside Uk or Outside UK?

Almost all residency visas in the UK are issued as biometric cards.
Did you apply from outside the UK ? The usually ask you to collect your BRP after arrival.

If you got a visa in 2014 then your vignette is likely valid for the duration of your visa grant period, it 2 or 3 years.

No need to "apply" for a BRP before an extension then.

Thanks Guys, I think I got my answer. I applied from outside UK for T1 Entrepreneur visa.
